Because spider silk is five times stronger than iron, and natural spider silk is not easy to mass-produce, the team chose to grow new fibers directly in the laboratory through microorganisms. This main commodity has received attention from all walks of life, because it is not made of oil, and the manufacturing process only produces 1/5 of the carbon footprint of general animal fiber, and it maintains the toughness of natural spider silk.

二、2022-04-24 植好菌 «腸道細菌的奧秘-腸道菌相»
細菌存在我們地球上的時間已數十億年之久，演化過程也遠比人類的歷史更長，而人類從出生後就和細菌共生共存，彼此影響，身體上許多部位都有特定的細菌生存在其中，而最大的部位就在消化道，尤其是大腸，已有越來越多的研究發現身體的細菌竟然和許多的疾病相關。
每個人身上約有10-100兆個細菌，且細菌的細胞量是人體細胞量的10倍，更驚人的是在人體身上細菌的總基因量是人的100倍，它們可以透過這些基因調控身體的代謝、免疫、神經傳導等等，進而影響我們身體的健康。
有趣的是任何兩個人之間的基因99.9%是相同的，但是他們各自身上帶有的細菌基因卻高達80~90%不同。細菌佔人體總重量約1-3%，這些身體的細菌尤其是腸道菌可以協助我們消化、免疫及代謝等功能，所以有人視腸道菌為身體的另一個器官。

「腸道是人體免疫發展最重要的器官；腸道細菌則是最佳訓練員！」腸道是人體最多微生物聚集的地方，每公克腸液裡至少有一兆隻微生物，包含了益生菌、中間菌，以及會致病的病原菌，形成腸道微菌叢。這些微菌叢與腸道免疫系統互相調節；免疫系統維持微菌叢的生態，避免病原菌的生長；微菌叢促進免疫系統的成熟。
